“Liam has really helped us grow our ecommerce offering and digital footprint. By refining our website and launching a CRM strategy, we have increased monthly revenue by almost 50% in the first 6 months.”

The challenge
Context
One brand, three very different audiences
Hilltop runs a consumer honey brand and a B2B contract manufacturing business under one parent company. Each reaches a fundamentally different audience, with different buying logic, different content needs and different performance expectations.
Constraint
Three digital products, one team
Delivering across consumer DTC, custom platform development and B2B brand presence normally means stitching together three different suppliers. Hilltop wanted the range in one team, without losing depth in any one discipline.
Problem definition
Where the work needed to land
A group with real range (consumer honey, custom traceability, B2B manufacturing) but without a single digital team capable of operating across all three audience types at a consistent standard. The brief: operate as Hilltop's digital team across DTC, custom build and group-level B2B streams, delivered, run and extended by one team. Each product also needed to be built to carry new origins, new categories and new audience work over time, without requiring a rebuild.
Three build streams, one digital team
The engagement is structured as three distinct streams of work rather than one composite build. Each stream has its own audience, its own commercial logic, and its own reason to exist. All three are operated by Qwrki on an ongoing basis.

What was delivered
Across the three streams, Qwrki acts as the single digital team. Coordinating decisions that touch more than one product, and extending each as the business evolves.
Consumer DTC
Storefront and growth
- Shopify storefront rebuild
- Lifecycle automation and Klaviyo
- Paid acquisition and retention
- Ongoing optimisation and operation
Custom traceability
Bespoke platform
- Trace Portal application build
- Structured region content library
What the system now does
Rather than presenting client figures, this section describes the operational capability now in place across the three streams. The page is framed around what the group is positioned to do, not what it has already produced.
Operates three audiences from one digital team
Consumer DTC, bespoke app development and B2B brand presence are all run by the same team, so decisions that affect more than one stream are made coherently rather than negotiated between suppliers.
Extends cleanly as the business evolves
The Trace platform is built around a structured region and content library so new origins can be added over time. The DTC and group sites are structured to carry new ranges and capability categories without rebuilds.
Positioning summary
- Commercial positioning
- The consumer DTC channel, the traceability experience and the B2B group presence are all delivered and operated to a consistent standard by one digital team.
- Operational positioning
- Decisions spanning multiple streams are made once and applied coherently, rather than managed between unrelated suppliers.
- Strategic positioning
- Each of the three products is built to be extended (new origins, new ranges, new capability categories, new audiences) without requiring a rebuild to support it.

Little's engaged Qwrki to rework the DTC side of the business. The storefront, subscription architecture, analytics and operational flows were restructured as one connected system rather than a set of separate tools.
